Our swimming pool is small and raised as we need to be respectful of the archaeological remains that lie under the ground of the property. It is a Saltwater pool, which means that we use 10% salt in the water - in that way the chlorine that is added to the salt doesn’t produce the same amount of chloramines - which are the byproduct of store-bought chlorine, primarily responsible for strong chlorine smells, eye redness, and skin irritation. That is why our pool is sanitised, but also gentle on the skin and the eyes, and has a pleasant scent. It is located next to our vegetable garden, close to our olive  grove.
